Layne is a 31 year old from Dee Why (NSW), Australia. She has made it into
the surf history books as the first and only person in the ASP to win six
consecutive world titles.
World title holder from 1998 to present, she truly is a living legend and
an inspiration to thousands of aspiring groms around the world.
Layne has a drive and ambition that you see in other surf pros like Kelly
Slater and Andy Irons, with a soft demeanor and great sense of humor. She
has been able to break the barriers set by society and has been able to
reunite the surfing culture.
No longer do people say "she's good for a girl", now you hear "she's one
of the best surfers".
